Frances Rodman has been a licensed mental health counselor for over twenty years, and prior to that was an elementary school teacher. She has written extensively about her experiences as a student and as a teacher. She currently works as a freelance writer. Her first book, The House on Pumpkin Hill, was published by the University Press of Mississippi in 2008.
